The wind is rising. So is your main character energy.
Like me, I'm sure you’ve watched Studio Ghibli movies on repeat and wondered what it would be like to be the protagonist of your own Ghibli adventure. This Ghibli personality quiz analyzes your daily habits, quiet daydreams, and emotional landscape to figure out your true Ghibli heroine. Are you Chihiro from Spirited Away, stumbling into strength? Perhaps a soft‑spoken Sheeta from Castle in th Sky? Or a wild‑hearted San, fighting for what is right in Princess Mononoke? Whether you feel the call to adventure or to a nice, cozy cabin, it’s time to find out which Studio Ghibli heroine has been living in you all along.

• Shiro Nishi, the mysterious antique shop owner who nudges others toward their purpose.
• Fujimoto, who’s weird, extra, and does not explain himself but deeply cares anyway.
• Teto, the fox-squirrel who chooses you once you’ve earned his trust.
• Baron’s crow friend, Toto, who is loyal, stylish, and always watching.
• Kamaji, who works nonstop, helps quietly, and never asks for thanks.
What do you love most about Ghibli movies?
• The way they let sadness breathe without rushing to fix it.
• How the worlds feel lived‑in, like you’ve been there before.
• The small acts of care that carry more weight than big declarations.
• The cozy feeling that everything is soft, slow, and somehow exactly where it should be.
• The food. It’s the food. I won’t lie.
You are Chihiro from Spirited Away. You are stronger than you think, even when you're shaking. People assume you’re delicate, but they miss the quiet grit underneath your hesitation. You don’t rush into bravery, rather you earn it, one terrified step at a time. You carry more than you let on, but still make space for wonder. Even when you're scared, you keep moving, and that’s the part no one can take from you.
You are San from Princess Mononoke. You don’t half‑feel anything. When you love, it’s to the bone, and when you rage, it shakes the walls. You’ve spent so long surviving that softness feels like a risk, but it’s still in you. People think you’re hard to reach, but really, you’re just protecting the parts of yourself no one helped you carry. You’re not lost. You’re just not willing to be tamed.
You are Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service. You’re the kind of person who works hard to seem fine, even when you’re unraveling a little. You want to do things right, not for approval, but because it feels like a promise to yourself. Joy matters to you, but not the loud kind. For you it's about the joy you earn through effort and care. Even when you feel like you’re failing, you still deliver warmth. That’s your magic.
You are Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. You’ve spent years feeling like you were in the background of your own life, but the truth is, you were the main character the whole time. You grow into your power slowly, quietly, and without asking permission. You don’t need a spotlight to change everything. You just need a little room to decide who you are. You’re proof that becoming yourself is its own kind of spell.
You are Nausicaä from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. You’re calm when others panic, clear when others spiral. People look to you for direction, even when you didn’t ask to lead. You see beauty in broken things and peace in dangerous places. You don’t fight to win. You fight to heal, to understand, and to protect. And somehow, even in the middle of collapse, you still believe in kindness.
You are Sheeta from Castle in the Sky. You’re quiet, not because you’re unsure, but because you’re always listening. You move through the world with a gentleness that’s deliberate, not passive. People overlook you until they realize you’re the one holding everything together. You carry history, memory, and grace, even when no one sees the weight. Your silence is a choice. And it’s powerful.
You are Ponyo (from the movie Ponyo). You are chaos wrapped in love, and it works for you. Your energy doesn’t always make sense, but it always makes an impact. You care loudly, you love fearlessly, and you don’t wait for permission to be yourself. You’re not trying to fix the world. You’re just trying to live in it with your whole heart, and somehow that’s what ends up changing things.
You are Arrietty from The Secret World of Arrietty. You’re small in stature, maybe, but not in spirit. You notice what others miss and care about what others forget. You carry courage in moments no one sees, and you do hard things without expecting applause. You live in the details, in the quiet effort, in the whispered decision to keep showing up. And that’s exactly where your power lives.
You are Shizuku from Whisper of the Heart. You are full of questions, and you ask them out loud. But your curiosity isn’t just a trait or a piece of you. It’s how you connect, how you love, and how you figure out who you are. People may call you scatterbrained, but they don’t see how hard you’re working to become something real. You don’t want to be perfect. You just want to be true. And you're getting there.
You are Taeko from Only Yesterday. You carry your past like a box you keep meaning to unpack. You move through the world looking for something softer, something honest, even if you don't know what it is yet. People think you’re put together, but you’re still learning how to sit with your own story. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to keep listening to the part of you that wants more.
You are Umi from Ocean Waves. You take care of things that would fall apart without you. You make lists, make tea, and make order from chaos. But underneath that steadiness is a quiet longing you rarely let speak. You love deeply, even if you don’t always say it. You don’t need big gestures. You just need someone to notice that you're the kind of person who remembers the little things, even when no one asks.
You are Haru from The Cat Returns. You didn’t ask to be dragged into chaos, but you always rise to the moment. People think of you as the comic relief, the tagalong, or the one who's a little offbeat. But that misses the point. You're the one who adapts, transforms, and keeps going anyway. You’re braver than your story makes you seem. Deep down, you know exactly who you are. You just had to fall into another world to remember.
